又到了一个毕业的季节!

I am so relieved as I passed my defense and eventually finished the final copy of my thesis, and so excited for the new start in Pittsburgh.

I have to admit these two months I worked really hard, even stayed up 4am a couple of times for my thesis. However, I think it is really a rewarding experience to get a M.S. degree.

In March, when I just set up the new reaction system, I am totally lost and do not know whether I could finish that on time. (My advisors even think I probably just finish sometime in Aug, and officially graduate in December. However, what I WANT is to finish up everything before all the deadlines and officially graduate in Aug. Actually, only 2 out of 8 graduate student graduate on time this year, the rest all delayed for December.) There was a time I have a very strong belief in God, and I always do. The book “ Your best life now” written by Joel Osteen really helps me a lot. As I do believe God always stores great things in my life, no matter what. Thank you God, thank you for everything now and future.

I really miss the whole course to fight. Like the whole thesis, my principle advisor revised 6 times, a second advisor revised 4 times, a third one revise 3 times. For the defense, it lasted 2 hours. I presented for one hour, then answered the questions from committee members for another hour. I like this part though, they treats me as a professional chemical engineer to discuss things with me. It is really great!

I think now I could say I am ready for my PhD.

Now I am so excited for all the parties and trips after this. I will trip to south Dakota, -bad lands, rushmore at the end of this month. Attend graduation ceremony Aug 3^rd, then fly to pittsburgh Aug 4^th, tirp to Las vegas-yellow stone park –salt lake city during Aug,7^th- 14^th. After the orientation from Aug 15-17^th, trip to new york, boston after that. School starts Aug, 27^th. I am really excited for all of these. Hehe.
