Enjoy life

Hi, my friends, I am back.  I realized I like here more and more, not only you can air the freedom, and more important, you can always "put your life in danger" in a wise way.( I will not translate this sentence as my Mom will be scared if she saw this,hehe.) 

Just to give you guys some ideas what is agenda of the trip then it makes more sense when you checke the pics.

7.26. Routine: Redlin art center- Sioux Fall city-Corn Palace (Mitchell)-Badlands (Wall)

Redline art center: “drawing from experience”, most paintings are natural and country life, the color is clear.

Sioux fall city: is expended from this central part “Sioux fall park”, as the fall provide the energy for the food production

Corn Palace: the only palace in the world whose wall is made from corn, and it is changed year by year or a couple of years.

(玉米宫殿:世界上唯一个宫殿的墙壁是玉米做的, 可以看到不同种类的玉米颜色, 黄玉米, 褐色玉米, 黑玉米, 墙壁的图案每一,两年就会换一次.)

Badlands: A little bit late when we get there.

7.27. Wake up in the inn right at the foot of the badlands, and travel back to badlands again. It is like a small size of the “Grand Canyon”, and this gives you more opportunity to be closer to the badlands. It is a lot of fun to drive through this national park. We did a little bit hiking as well. (Should be a lot of fun to do hiking but we are short of time).

Afternoon, we are heading for the Deadwood (the town is right in the black hill national forest). It is famous for gold mines and casinos. We went to the gold mine, learned how to pan gold and were shown around the mine.

(我们就住在Badlands脚下的旅店, 早上再次回到badlands. 它就象小型的大峡谷, 正因为这样, 也给我们机会能够和它亲密接触. 下午我们到了Deadwood, 一个坐落在black hill 国家森林的一个小镇,以金矿和赌场出名.

Routine(路线): Reptile Garden- Bear country USA- Mt. Rushmore- Scenic Highway (16A-Custer state Park- Needle Highway)

Reptile Garden: Famous for all kinds of snakes, crocodile and alligator. There are a lot of bugs, frogs, etc. It is my first time to touch snakes and darf crocodile

(爬行动物展: 以各种蛇类和鳄鱼为名(很多是世界罕见的蛇种), 还有一些各种的虫类和青蛙. 蛇SHOW 和鳄鱼SHOW 蛮不错的. 也是我第一次摸蛇和侏儒鳄鱼.

Bear country USA: drive car through the park with all kinds of animals, especially for black bears, which it is famous for.

(熊世界: 开车经过一个公园, 看到很多动物, 尤其是黑熊.)

Mt. Rushmore: the amazing national monument, the head of four distinguished presidents.

(总统石: 终于到了真正的总统石像)

Scenic Highway (16A-Custer state Park- Needle Highway): beautiful scene and a lot of fun to drive through. The needle highway is a good place to go for the rock climbers. We did a little bit rock climbing as well.

(风景高速路(其实就30mile/hr): 风景蛮好的, 在森林里穿梭,开车比较有趣. “针”高速以各种针形状山石为名,是登山者选择之一. 我们也登了一下山, 我还是有点怕怕的).

7.29. routine: forest suite house-Crazy horse- Jewel Cave

Forest suite house: stay in the house right in the national forest surrounded with all trees, wake up and have Swedish breakfast. So soooooo beautiful and quiet.

(林中小屋, 那种寂静和美丽,让人难忘.)

Crazy horse: family runned monument to memory died native Americans. The project is still going with the increasing funding.

(Crazy horse 是私人基金的雕塑, 为了纪念死去的美国印第安人.)

Jewel Cave: it is the second longest cave in the world. We are spelunking for 5 hours, it is really mentally and physically challenged experience.
